SARASOTA, Fla. – April 24, 2024 – The 2024 Suncoast Boat Show, Presented by Boat Owner’s Warehouse and produced by Informa Markets, celebrated the success of its 42nd year of reeling in boating enthusiasts, industry experts, and media to the popular event that takes place at Marina Jack in downtown Sarasota’s waterfront.
On Friday, the largest vessel in the show sold. The 68-foot Manhattan presented by Sunseeker Yachts joined numerous sales from other exhibitors, such as Black Label Marine Group, Galati Yachts, Viage Group, and Pier One Yacht Sales who were pleased with the results of the three-day show. Dusty Smieja, Yacht Broker with One Water Yacht Group said, "We sold the 2024 Sunseeker Manhattan 68 to a woman who will dock it on Marco Island, Florida. We have another in Fort Lauderdale if anyone is still looking for one. They build about 150 boats every year in the United Kingdom. We're excited to have a good inventory to deliver at each of the Informa boat shows."
Attendees had the opportunity to donate to Mote Marine Laboratories when purchasing tickets via the boat show website, in support of the nonprofit organization that works to protect and conserve our marine resources. The Suncoast Boat Show generated $1,975 for Mote Marine Laboratories to continue their good work.
The presenting sponsor, Boat Owner’s Warehouse, one of Florida’s leading boat and marine supply stores, recently opened at 7522 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota and continues to extend sale prices that were offered to attendees at the Suncoast Boat Show.
Families filled the seminar tent to see Captain Don Dingman’s fishing clinic. He hosts Hook the Future at major boat shows and events across the Southeast, teaching thousands of families how to succeed in fishing while spending quality time together outdoors. Each child in attendance received a free Carolina Skiff custom rod and reel combo.
April 25-27, 2025 are the dates for next year’s Suncoast Boat Show in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
