SARASOTA, Fla. – April 3, 2025 – For more than 40 years, Marina Jack’s waterfront is transformed by the Suncoast Boat Show inviting boating enthusiasts to purchase or at least dream about enjoying Florida’s waterways. This year’s event takes place April 25-27, 2025 and presents an extraordinary selection of sportfishing, power boats and motor yachts in water and on land along Sarasota’s luxurious downtown waterfront.
The Suncoast Boat Show is hosted by the U.S. Boat Show division of Informa Markets, the exhibitions organizer that owns and operates the world’s leading international boat and yacht events. Integral to a corporate culture of sustainability, Informa U.S. Boat Shows has donated thousands of dollars to support multiple initiatives advocating for environmental preservation, internationally and domestically in the destinations where they host each show.
In Sarasota, Informa’s U.S. Boat Show division partners with Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium in a fundraising effort and opportunity to put leading-edge ocean conservation science into action today. Upon purchasing tickets via the boat show website, donations can be made to Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium. Established in 1955, this leading nonprofit organization works to protect and conserve our marine resources. Funds raised help Mote rehabilitate sick marine animals, answer questions about the health of our marine environment and teach the public more about our oceans. Mote has over 300 staff members, including 40 PhD scientists working within the 38 diverse programs and centers in Mote's global research enterprise.
Tickets for this year’s Suncoast Boat Show must be purchased in advance via the website https://www.suncoastboatshow.com/en/home.html Tickets are $20 and children ages 15 and under are free. Veterans and active-duty military show proof of military service for a free ticket. The show opens on Friday, April 25 at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., continuing Saturday, April 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Marina Jack, #2 Marina Plaza, Sarasota, Florida.
On Saturday and Sunday, well known Sportsman Channel host Captain Don Dingman presents a youth fishing clinic entitled Hook the Future and gives each participant a free rod and reel. Captain Dingman is an expert angler who lost his son in 2004. This inspired him to produce a program to show other parents how important it is to spend quality time with their own kids.
